Dates: May 20–23, 2025
Location: Koelnmesse Exhibition Centre, Cologne, Germany

Central Theme: “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions”

Building upon the "Neo-Ecology" concept introduced in 2023, Interzum 2025 focuses on sustainable practices in the furniture industry. The theme emphasizes two key approaches:
Circular Economy: Extending the lifecycle of materials through reuse, repair, and recycling.
Biobased Solutions: Utilizing renewable, natural materials as alternatives to petroleum-based products

Exibition Segments

Interzum 2025 is organized into three main segments:
  • Function & Components: Showcasing technologies that enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and convenience in furniture design. This segment covers hardware systems, functional fittings, lighting, and smart solutions. Think drawer systems, hinges, sliding doors, electronic integration (like touch-to-open mechanisms), and new generation lighting for interiors.
  • Materials & Nature:  Focused on surfaces, decors, wood-based panels, veneers, and natural materials. This is where you’ll find the latest trends in textures, sustainable surfaces, pastel matte finishes, and decorative boards—often where companies like Egger and Alvic shine.
